Our software platform creates precise “digital twins” of a surgical subject from radiological imaging data, such as CT, MRI or fMRI. Skin, bone and brain layers help to plan procedures accurately and within minutes. Our HoloDeck projects the virtual anatomical layers onto your desk to observe and adapt the surgical plan at real-life scale and in 3D.
Simulate prior to surgery.
The CORTEXPLORER system enables you to train and simulate complex procedures in realistic training scenarios. From our software platform, 3D-prints of a subject can be ordered or built in your own lab with no effort. New users can train tool handling, while experienced users can simulate more technical aspects of tomorrow’s surgery.
Real-time navigation and guidance.
In surgery, CORTEXPLORER supports you in navigating and targeting the brain in invasive or non-invasive procedures. Multiple high-resolution cameras monitor the instruments relative to the subject’s anatomy and the surgical plan, guiding users at all stages of a procedure. Typical applications are the insertion of single and multi-electrodes, injections and the navigation of stimulation coils.
Bring HoloDeck to your surgical suite.
Our innovative HoloDeck interface lets you see both the real subject and, virtually overlaid, its inner anatomical structure. Investigate and adapt every detail of your surgical plan and see the effects instantly as a holographic projection. A unique data-processing pipeline guarantees highest precision at lowest latencies, for a natural user experience. HoloDeck also enables sterile interaction with your navigation system through gestures and voice commands.
